The Role

As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding processes. You will work from blueprints and technical drawings to create high-quality components that meet our rigorous safety and durability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements to plan layout.
• Execution: Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding on [Material types: e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel].
• Preparation: Clamping, threading, grinding, and detail-oriented surface preparation.
• Inspection: Conduct self-inspections of welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications (bead size, penetration, etc.).
• Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe workspace.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in GMAW, GTAW, SMAW.
• Certifications: Valid welding certification (CWB, AWS) is mandatory.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.
• Safety First: Deep understanding of shop safety protocols and PPE requirements.
